A couple who own a caravan park in Lincolnshire are celebrating after winning an award from the Caravan Club.
The group is celebrating 50 years of having certified locations (CL), which are small plots that usually provide about five pitches in rural locations.
To mark the occasion, an awards ceremony was held recently at the House of Commons.
First place went to Keith and Jean Rogers, who run Keal Lodge in Deeping St James.
The pair have run the site for 14 years and commented that they enjoy providing a location for visitors to explore an often overlooked corner of the country.
Mrs Rogers said that she has lived in the area all her life and as such is "more than happy to help our guests make the most of their stay - whether it's wildlife watching, admiring historic buildings, or joining in one of my craft weekends".
The adults-only site is set five minutes away from Deeping St James, which is a historical village that boasts riverside walks along the River Welland.
It won second prize in the contest in the 2007 awards and third prize in the same ceremony is 2002, as well as having scooped the Regional Winner title for Middle England and East Anglia Region in 1998, 1999 and 2000.
