Caravan insurance policyholders may be among the mobile home traders who have made a record number of bookings to display their wares at this year's UK Motorhome and Caravan Spring Fair.

The event will take place at Newark Showground in Nottinghamshire on March 27th and 28th and is set to draw in throngs of caravan insurance policyholders intent on bagging a bargain or viewing the latest models.

Exhibits will be on show both inside and outside at the event, which also provides a holiday opportunity for many Britons who choose to pitch their caravan at the site for the two-day show.

One of the show's organisers, Russ Harman, told MyHolidayCaravan.com: "One of the reasons for the show's popularity is that it provides visitors with an opportunity to compare so many different products all on one day and in one place."

The record number of traders set to host stalls this year could be reflective of last year's bumper staycation season, which has been predicted to continue into 2010 as consumers look to save money.

Britons attending the show this year may find they rub shoulders with stars such as celebrity interior designer Linda Barker and TV chef James Martin.
