Caravan insurance policyholders may be among the readers of Camping & Caravanning magazine that have helped the publication see year-on-year growth of more than eight per cent.
The magazine recorded an average new circulation for January to December 2009 of 237,168, representing a rise of 17,787 copies.
Potential reasons for the increase in interest have been suggested as being the facelift the magazine received last year, refreshing the publication's design and incorporating a new Out and About section.
Readership could have also been buoyed by the increased number of Britons choosing to join caravan insurance policyholders in taking an interest in holidaying at home last year as the credit crunch hit home.
Earlier this year the club announced it expects the staycation trend to continue well into 2010.
Editor Simon McGrath commented: "Camping & Caravanning magazine continues to go through a busy and exciting period of growth and development."
He added that member feedback showed readers are happy with the publication.
Marketing and communications director Matthew Eastlake stated that the magazine is an integral part of members' subscription package, adding he expects the publication to "go from strength-to-strength".
