Motorhome and caravan insurance policyholders might want to consider a further flung break this year that allows them to take in sights from on the other side of the globe.

The Camping and Caravanning Club is urging mobile home fans to take advantage of the Carefree Travel Service and book one of its many motorhome touring holidays.

Tours operate on an escorted basis to South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Canada and various other locations, including east and west America.

Caravan insurance policyholders who opt for one of the trips will find everything is taken care of, from flights and motorhome hire to pitches at their destination.

Travel services director Richard Grimsdale commented that while travelling to other countries and continents can be an inspirational dream, it can be difficult to explore and get to know somewhere new with ease.

"However you choose to travel, whatever your destination, we'll work with you to make all of the necessary arrangements and support you every step of the way," he added.

The club recently published its Summer Camping 2010 brochure to provide information on foreign destinations across Europe for caravan insurance policyholders.
