Caravan insurance policyholders attending the Boat and Caravan Show may be persuaded of the wiles of the Norfolk Broads when they attend the event.

The Broads Authority and the Broads Tourism Forum have teamed up to launch a campaign promoting the area and will launch the initiative at the event.

Visitors to the show will be given an early viewing of the campaign's 24-page brochure, which is to be handed out across East Anglia and the surrounding areas to highlight Norfolk as a tourist hotspot.

Two presentations will also be broadcast at the show over two large plasma screens.

Ian Russell, chairman of The Broads Tourism Forum, said he hopes the launch will attract visitors to the region.

"The Broads provide such a wonderful wealth of experiences for visitors of all kinds but it is not always easy to appreciate what the possibilities are," he said.

Bruce Hanson, the Broads Authority's head of tourism, added that the partnership is keen to enhance its appeal to Britons in the Midlands and throughout the rest of the UK.

Caravan insurance policyholders attending the show will be able to run shoulders with stars like celebrity chef James Martin and interior designer Linda Barker.
