Mobile home maker and conversion specialist Timberland Motorhomes has launched a new model that could appeal motorhome insurance policyholders looking for a budget fixed-bed design.

The new Atlantis vehicle is inspired by the firm's customers, who have made various suggestions regarding the development of models.

"As always, Timberland is prepared to listen to our customers and develop our products accordingly," said proprietor Kevin Cain.

"The result is a functional and comfortable vehicle which meets the demands of a growing number of customers who prefer a vehicle of this size with a fixed rear bed."

According to the firm, the vehicle, which is based on the Timberland hand-built Fiat Ducato Destiny model, offers excellent day-to-day living functionality and comes complete with luxury spec levels.

Standard features include electric doors and mirrors, a three-burner hob, a washroom with shower, driver and passenger airbags and a three-way fridge.

Optional extras extend to a twin TV pack, satnav system, an engine upgrade, parking sensors and a solar panel.

The model featured at the Manchester Central Caravan and Motorhome Show earlier this year, alongside other vehicles from Timberand's Destiny and Endeavour ranges.
