A caravan site in Yorkshire has won a top accolade from a mobile home club at the Boat and Caravan Show in Birmingham.
Brown Moor Caravan Club Site was named the favourite park in the UK among club members as part of the Calor Caravan Club Awards 2009.
Situated in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park, the site provides opportunities for visiting caravan insurance policyholders to talk walking or cycling holidays, visit the nearby historic market town of Hawes and take in local wildlife.
Other accolades were given out for the best member service, with the award going to Bromyard Downs Caravan Club Site, while Min y Don Caravan Club Site in Harlech was named the best maintained site.
Steve Kovacs, head of sites operations for The Caravan Club, commented that thousands of votes had been cast to recognise the winning sites.
"I have nothing but praise for all the hard work and the effort our warden teams across the country make to ensure visitors have a wonderful holiday, and offer congratulations on behalf of the club to the teams from these winning sites," he added.
