Owners of caravans on the Silver Sands site in Lossiemouth have reportedly been warned they could face eviction.
An investigation over a fraud case at the site was launched last summer, but Deepak Johar, director of the company which owns the site, Green Parcs, has argued that this issue is entirely separate from the fraud case.
Apparently, letters have been sent to those who do not own the caravans or would not agree to a compromise with the site owners.
Some caravan residents claim to have paid thousands of pounds for their caravans, but are now being faced with eviction after it emerged they may not have legal ownership.
According to Scottish news provider STV, a letter sent to caravan residents read: "If we do not receive an agreement from you within the next 14 days we will have no alternative but to prevent you from using the aforementioned caravan until the matter is resolved."
It added that such a move would involve exclusion of entry to the park and the caravan.
The fraud case that began last summer is ongoing.
