Caravan enthusiasts have been encouraged to take a visit to the Norfolk Broads for their next adventure.
Authorities from the Broads headed to the recent Boat and Caravan Show at the NEC in Birmingham as part of an effort to attract more caravan insurance customers as tourists to the region.
Speaking to the Eastern Daily Press following the event, Broads Tourism Forum chairman Ian Russell said: "What we have to do is reposition the Broads as a fantastic place to go boating but also for shore-side accommodations, walking, cycling, bird watching, boutique hotels and more."
The paper adds that more efforts will be made to encourage people to visit the region at the British Leisure Show, which is due to take place from March 19th to 21st - and caravanning will be one key feature of the show.
The British Leisure Show is due to take place at the Royal Windsor Racecourse and besides caravanning, will also feature a range of activities for visitors to take part in, ranging from climbing to scuba diving.
Caravans set to feature at the show include Airstream models and varieties from Bailey and Coashman, among others.
