Caravan fans may be pleased to read that they can now catch up with programmes they miss from the Caravan Channel thanks to a repeat series on a new channel.

Viewers annoyed about missing out on their favourite shows about campervans and mobile homes will be able to pick up where they left off thanks to the development of the Caravan Channel Gold, which will air repeats every night at 19:00 BST.

Over the past three years, the Caravan Channel has been broadcasting a new edition of its show every two weeks via Sky channel 166 and Freesat 402. The decision has now been made to repeat the programmes, with shows broadcast first from 2008.

"Over the last year, we've gained large numbers of viewers, who say they want to see some of our older shows," said programme producer and presenter Chris Gosling. "And we're delighted to oblige," he added.

Mr Gosling said the repeats also mean viewers have more to watch, as some caravan insurance policyholders may not have seen all the previous shows.

The main Caravan Channel airs at 19:00 BST, four nights a week on a Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The Gold version, which launched last week, airs on the days not covered by the main show.
