Strong Easter trade as a result of more Britons choosing to holiday at home could be set to buoy trade at a Norfolk holiday park by ten per cent.

Caravan insurance policyholders who made their way to the Vauxhall Holiday Park in Yarmouth in recent weeks could be among those visitors expected to contribute a ten per cent rise in trade at the site during the Easter and forthcoming summer periods.

Website EDP24.co.uk reports that bookings rose by seven per cent last year as people searched out value for money breaks.

"People are going back to pre-internet times and want to secure their holiday earlier but want an incentive to do that," commented the site's marketing manager Roger Finney.

He added that: "People have seen the quality and facilities particularly for children and those parks who have invested are now well placed to benefit form that."

Mr Finney said the park may reinvest in some of its facilities later this year and concluded that 2010 looks set to be another highly successful year for the UK's tourism industry.

Earlier this year, the Caravan Club said it too plans to invest in its sites during 2010. The organisation has pledged to inject £12.7 million into its parks network this year.
