Mobile home owners planning a trip to Surrey in the near future might want to ensure they do not miss out on an award-winning attraction in the county.
The recent 2010 Enjoy England Awards for Excellence, sponsored by The Caravan Club, has named the Royal Horticultural Society's (RHS) Garden Wisley Large Visitor Attraction of the Year.
One of the society's flagship gardens, Wisley was a gift to the RHS in 1903 and boasts rose gardens, richly planted borders and a new glasshouse.
In its trials field, flowers and vegetables are planted, while model gardens feature throughout.
This year, staff at the garden have planted a sunflower maze and are currently building a bird hide, which could appeal to nature-loving caravan insurance policyholders planning a day out.
Head of site James Rudoni said the award win will help raise the profile of Wisley and highlight the garden as having much to offer day trippers.
Local caravan sites include Barataria Park and V N B Management's Warren Farm Mobile Home Park, both in Woking.
