Motorhome and caravan insurance policyholders might want to get involved in a contest to find the best five-van sites across the UK.

Practical Motorhome magazine has launched a search for the top 50 five-van locations as voted for by their readers.

Caravan insurance policyholders can go online to vote for the best locations they have visited and the winners will be revealed in the magazine's first-ever awards issue to be published in August.

"If you've visited a certificated site or certificated location that you think deservers a mention, please include its details here, and tell us what makes it so good," the magazine asks.

Voters are asked to include various information on their forms, such as the type of site, its name and address, whether electrics were available and what was most impressive about the location.

Other questions include specifics of the mobile home they own and whether they belong to any caravanning clubs.

Additionally, the magazine is also running a competition to find the best sites in general alongside its five-van contest.

Those who also vote in the Sovereign Awards, which investigates which vans are the best, have a chance of winning a year's free subscription to the magazine.
