Plans for a caravan storage site in Cheshire have been given the go ahead by planning officers.
This is Cheshire reports that agricultural land situated at Penketh Hall Farm, Hall Nook, in Warrington, can now be used as a facility to house up to 20 mobile homes, which may be good news for local caravan insurance policyholders who would like somewhere secure to store their mobile home.
Some conditions have been outlined for builders to adhere to when creating the facility, including the requirement that the caravans stored inside must be anchored securely to the ground.
Other stipulations mean the firm erecting the storage building must submit a landscaping scheme in two months' time, in which it must outline a schedule of plant species and densities to be added to the site.
The grounds were originally used as farmland and local residents raised some concerns the new building could affect the value of their properties, the website states.
Other such facilities in the area include Peak Caravan Storage in Hyde, which covers a 1.25-acre area and provides security features such as 24-hour surveillance and perimeter fencing, as well as an on-site warden.
