A caravan site in Hereford has been named as the friendliest site in the Heart of England region by caravan insurance policyholders.
Readers at the Practical Motorhome Magazine voted Hereford Camping and Caravanning Club Site as the leading and most friendly destination; the latest in a series of awards for the club after Bellingham Camping and Caravanning Club Site was placed 15th in the publication's overall list of sites.
Hereford Club Site franchisee Bill Sayer commented: "We are delighted with this award. It is a wonderful vote of confidence from our guests considering the short amount of time we've been open and we'd like to thank them for their votes."
He explained that his site looks to accommodate all campers and caravan insurance guests, so the accolade should encourage others to visit the destination this summer.
The awards were held as part of the magazine's Motorhome of the Year awards to celebrate its 100th edition.
Bob Hill, the club's sites director, added that it is an honour for the club to receive recognition of its work and paid tribute to both the sites' franchisees for their "exceptional customer service".
The Caravan and Camping Club was launched in 1901 and runs a number of sites across the UK.
