Caravan show comes to Manchester
A caravan site's park to attain a late night entertainments license has been opposed by local residents, it has been reported.
Manchester will host the biggest selection of caravans, awnings and motor homes in the north-west this month at the Manchester Caravan & Motorhome Show 2008.
The event, held at Manchester Central, will see two halls filled with vehicles from quality brands such as Vantage, Bessacarr and Fleetwood.
All those who enter the exhibition at £6 each will be able to relax and enjoy some of the best caravans around - all the while sipping on a complimentary cup of tea or coffee.
Those who get in early and buy a ticket online in advance will be entered into a prize draw that can see them pick up £1,000 - a fee that could help pay for the caravan insurance costs on some of the more advanced vehicles.
"Enthusiasts in the north-west will once again have the chance to satisfy their every caravanning need as the Caravan & Motorhome Show 2008 returns to Manchester Central for the twelfth year," an event press release read.
The Manchester Central arena and exhibition hall was granted Grade I status in 1963 but is now ranked as a Grade II listed building.
