Caravan planning problems lead official quit calls
Discrepancies in a planning file for a caravan site has led to a park authority investigation, it has been reported.
According to the BBC, Brecon Beacons National Park Authority has commissioned an inquiry after "serious failings" were found in the application process for Gilestone Farm at Talybony-on-Usk.
The problems included missing documents and inefficiencies in the way in which the park's complaints procedure works.
Now an official in the region has called for the resignation of senior figures at the park authority, claiming that they have let down the people they are supposed to serve, caravan insurance customers may be interested to know.
"In my opinion this file has been cleaned in the sense that all drafts and casual notes and other such documents have been deliberately removed," commented Brecon and Radnorshire area manager Kirsty Williams.
Ms Williams added that she is looking to raise the issue with sustainability minister Jane Davidson this week.
This comes as councillors at Alnwick District Council will today announce its decision regarding a proposed caravan site at Snipe House Farm, according to Northumberland Today.
Serac Solutions' 100-loy park will also house a reception area, office and toilet block.
