Volvo announces caravan show appearance
Swedish car manufacturer Volvo is to make its presence known at this month's National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show.
According to the firm, the company will be promoting itself as the ideal car when it comes to towing motor homes and other transportable goods.
This could mean that people with caravans find that they save on their car insurance policies if Volvo vehicles are safer and less likely to cause damage.
Being showcased by the firm at the event, which is to be held at the Birmingham NEC between the 19th and 24th February, are cars the company believes are ideal for towing.
Among them is the Volvo XC70 All-Wheel Drive estate as well as the versatile V50 and V70 estate vehicles.
In addition, visitors will be able to get a closer look at the award-winning XC90 and C30 SportsCoupe.
Meanwhile, Volvo has announced that it is recalling 82,000 vehicles worldwide due to faulty diesel filters.
The Stockholm-based firm has announced that S40 and V50 models from between 2004 and 2006 are particularly likely to be affected by the technical problem.
