Caravan show in pursuit of Wales' oldest motor home

People visiting the Carmarthen Caravan and Motorhome Show will get to see the Wales' oldest caravan if event organizers get their way.

Bosses are looking for a motor home which dates back a number of years in order to exhibit it from April 18th to April 20th, reports The Western Mail.

If they do, they are prepared to offer alternative accommodation, dinner for two at a local pub and a bottle of champagne in return for the owners.

Show organisers have upped the ante when it comes to entertainment at the event, the news source claims, making it a great trip out for people in the UK.

"The oldest caravan resident in Wales will be invited to the show where it can be placed and used on an outside pitch, or alternatively kept inside as showpiece," a spokesman for organisers Towy Events said.

Meanwhile, caravan fans in Birmingham will soon get the chance to visit a motor home exhibition closer to home.

The National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor Show will be at the Birmingham NEC from Tuesday February 19th until Sunday February 24th.
