Goodwood visitors 'to benefit from improved hospitality'

Caravan owners looking to visit the Goodwood estate this year can benefit from improved hospitality at the site, according to an industry firm.

Easier states that people can bring their motor homes to the West Sussex attraction when they head to the Festival of Speed and Revival events.

Once there, they will be able to feel secure with 24-hour patrols while they can also benefit from a 600-seat restaurant and new facilities.

The security aspect may result in cheaper caravan insurance policies, as firms may consider regular visitors to the site to represent a lower risk of a claim being made.

"After an energetic day of high-octane motoring action, Festival of Speed and Revival event goers will be able to enjoy the convenience and camaraderie of a new, purpose-built camping facility, located within the grounds of Goodwood Estate," the organisers stated.

This follows the news that Banff Links Caravan Park will not be able to open in time for the start of the holiday season.

According to the Banffshire Journal, sewer and drainage works at the site mean that it will not be opening to the public until the end of March.
