£2.5 million project sees holiday park receive revamp
A holiday park in Weymouth is to be revamped in a £2.5 million makeover, a news source in the area has reported.
The Dorset Echo comments that Littlesea Holiday Park's makeover will see it bring 60 new employment opportunities to the region in addition to some exciting new features.
One improvement will be the addition of the Mash and Barrel Cafe bar, which will be finished and ready to open before the new holiday season begins next month, the source states.
It may be that people with caravan insurance find that their policies go down if safety and security on the site are improved by the project.
According to site general manager Dave Bennett, this is exciting news for the area.
"We will be offering an even more extensive menu at Mash and Barrel and with our superb new decking area overlooking the lagoon and nature reserve at Chesil Beach," said the official.
This follows news in South Tyneside Today that local council representatives are to include Lizard Lane and Sandhaven caravan sites in its project to upgrade local amenities.
