Lotto winners pick up caravan dream home
A couple from Gloucestershire whose numbers came in on the National Lottery have splashed out on a new caravan, it has been reported.
Motor home enthusiasts Bryan and Janice Crook from Stroud picked £2.4 million on the game and are now looking to indulge two of their passions - fishing and caravans, according to the BBC.
The national news provider comments that the couple have now bought two motor homes since they scooped the big prize.
Mr Crook commented that the simple pleasures appeal to them more than the luxurious.
He said: "We're not interested in spending money on holidays in Spain or cruises; we're not really into travel although we go to Newquay as it has fishing lakes down there too."
With their winnings, it may be that the couple never have to worry about the cost of caravan insurance again.
This follows another family in the UK who have decided to splash out on motor homes following a lottery win.
The Prance family won £6.9 million and have since spent their cash on three caravans at Trecco Park in Porthcawl - their favourite site.
