Caravan fans get to tow the line at show

The National Boat Caravan & Outdoor Show is giving motorists the chance to try their hand at towing a motor home, it has been reported.

According to the Birmingham Mail, show officials have set up a course around which people can drive a Land Rover Freelander 2, pulling behind it a motor home.

This year's show, held at the Birmingham NEC, began on Tuesday and is 30 per cent larger than last year's exhibition, the news source adds.

Indeed, it reports that six halls at the site have been filled with outdoor equipment for use while on such a holiday, including caravans, lodges and holiday homes.

And those people who decide to pick up a motor home at the show can also receive information on how to get the best out of a caravan insurance deal from the plethora of cover companies scheduled to make an appearance at the event.

Meanwhile, Practical Caravan has commented that this year marks the 47th year of the show and counts Sunseeker, Princess and Bayliner launches among its highlights.
