Caravan and camping firm celebrates 20 years in business
A west Wales caravan and camping firm is this year celebrating its 20th year in operation, according to an industry news source.
Officials from Croeso Cader Idris Farm Tourism Group put on a special dinner in order to commemorate the achievement, reports Farmers Guardian.
Carys Evans, group secretary at Cynfal Farm Cottages in Bryncrug, commented that the Welsh setting was a key selling point when people are deciding which caravan and camping site to visit.
"The fact that we are all Welsh speaking is another big selling point...People like to come to Wales and stay with a Welsh family," she said.
But it may be that the popularity of a site increases the price of insuring a vehicle there if a caravan company decides that there is a big enough threat.
This comes as the Western Mail reports that bosses running the Carmarthen Caravan and Motorhome Show in April are looking to find Wales' oldest caravan.
If residents come forward with their elderly motor homes, Towy Events is willing to offer them an all expenses paid trip to the event.
