Residents raise concerns over site planning problems
People in Thorpe have stated their dissatisfaction with plans to erect a number of log cabins at a caravan site in the area, according to a local news source.
Horncastle Today comments that bosses at Tattershall Country Park have been developing the buildings without gaining proper permission.
But James Gilbert comments that the huts, which had been delayed, were held up due to design issues rather than official planning problems.
People in the area have also commented that they are disappointed that officials have dragged their heels getting the project underway.
It may be that the arrival of the cabins compromises caravan insurance policies, as cover firms could see the increased number of people on the site indicative of a greater risk to motor homes.
According to James Gilbert from East Lindsey district council, officials are "working closely with the owners to regularise issues".
This follows news that Banff Links Caravan Park will be opening later than usual this year.
According to the Banffshire Journal, sewage work will keep the site closed until at least March 28th, meaning that it will miss the start of the new season.
