Caravan couple head out on the road
A newly-married husband and wife will be heading out onto the road in a caravan for their honeymoon, it has been reported.
James and Peggy Mason are travelling across the UK in a £15,000 motor home after their whirlwind romance saw them marry in November.
Their trip will begin close to Carmarthen, the hometown of 93-year-old Mr Mason, although he has commented that he will be sharing the driving responsibilities with his 85-year-old wife.
"I'm happy to sit back and let Peggy stay behind the wheel. She says I'm too slow...I'll keep her entertained - and sneak in a snooze now and again," said Mr Mason.
It should be pointed out that a long trip such as this should be covered by a sufficient caravan insurance policy, as damage to their vehicle could leave Mr and Mrs Mason out of pocket.
This comes as the BBC reports that a couple from Gloucestershire have bought a caravan with their Lotto jackpot winnings.
Bryan and Janice Cook won £2.4 million and have picked up a motor home in Burnham-on-Sea.
