Couple 'fed up with caravan vandals'
Vandalism is causing a couple from Selsey to pack up and leave a caravan site, it has been reported.
According to the Worthing Herald, John and Yvonne Ford have been made the victim of a number of attacks to their motor home on the Bunn Leisure site since they first arrived there in July 2006.
It may be that such damage can have a serious effect on a caravan insurance policy, as cover companies could decide that the owners are a risk and choose to increase costs.
One such attack saw every window vandalised except one, including the vehicle's two doors.
Now local Detective Inspector Jim McKnight commented that Sussex Police is looking to catch out those who caused the damage.
"We are eager to identify and prosecute those responsible for the mindless damage to these caravans and as such we are taking the unusual step by offering a £500 reward for information that leads to the successful prosecution of the offenders," said the official.
Meanwhile, this is Lancashire reports that a family's application for planning permission at the back of a farm in the region has been rejected.
