Increased booking at Reighton park
There has been an increase in the number of bookings at a holiday park in Reighton, a local news source has reported.
According to the Bridlington Today, most of the 700 static caravans at the site have been booked by people wishing to stay at the attraction this season.
Indeed, it may be that all of the 155 people employed at the park will be put to good use as the year progresses.
But the increased business over the period may result in the cost of caravan insurance in the region going up, as the extra vehicles could be seen as a risk to motor home owners.
Andrew Greaves, assistant holiday sales manager at the site, commented that a number of improvements have been carried out to improve the attraction.
"We usually do well at Easter but this year bookings have been up and we're looking forward to a busy season," he said.
This comes as protestors near Workington have moved to block local businessman George Campbell from developing a caravan and holiday lodge in the region, the Times & Star has reported.
