Couple appeals for storage site to remain
Two Yorkshire residents are appealing to officials in the region for permission to keep their caravan storage site open, according to a local news source.
Anthony and Paula Briggs have been living on Pepper Hill Farm for 16 years and currently cater to up to 60 motor homes, Halifax Today has reported.
But last August, the pair was asked to close the site and on Tuesday will recommend to the local council that it is shut down, the news source added.
Without a caravan storage site, it may be that some motor home owners struggle to keep their vehicles safe and compromise their caravan insurance policies as a result.
The council has upset me...We have a landfill site across from us and a scrapyard across the road, which are a mess," said Mrs Briggs.
Meanwhile, bosses at Wicksteed Park are looking to transform the destination into a caravan park, according to the Northampton Evening Telegraph.
Some 25 caravan homes, 100 plots for motor homes and 50 tent pitches will be installed once the site is set up and operational.
