Replacement Vehicle Plus Cover


This policy supplies you with a replacement vehicle for up to 14 days if your vehicle is undriveable following theft, attempted theft, fire, vandalism or accidental damage.

Please do not hire a vehicle before we have agreed to cover your claim. If you do, we will not pay the costs involved even if we accept the claim.

What is Covered


We will arrange and pay for a replacement vehicle if your vehicle is: stolen; damaged by fire, an attempted theft, or vandalism; or declared a total write–off by your motor insurer or an engineer we arrange following an accident.

  • We will only pay car replacement costs for up to 14 days, or until your car can be driven again if this is sooner. You must tell us as soon as your vehicle becomes available for you to ride again.
  • Your car must be undriveable.
  • If a crime has been committed it must have been reported to the police.
  • We will make all arrangements for car hire including choosing the car hire company and the type of car to be hired.
  • You must meet the age and licensing rules of the hire company and follow any conditions of hire.
